One of the few war memorials to fallen German soldiers during the World Wars, this one located in München (Munich). As much of Germany does not wish to remember such times, there are few places where the dead are commemorated. I find this sad as many soldiers of the Third Reich did not care for the Nazi party at all, yet still fought valiantly in the name of their country and the desires of its people. It is an example of those who sacrificed all for their people and nation being buried face first in a ditch over politics. Germans deserve as much memory as Americans, British, French, and all those who died in the Second World War, they are people like any other.
