The background to this was originally must simpler and filled mostly with mist, but somehow it became a little more overbearing than initially planned. This is also the first painting I ever did that didn't start with a pencil drawing -- I dove straight into painting and started with a digital color sketch instead.
Characters Fox and Cassia (and Ealai is the four legged one).

gosh! you amazed me! the details are so wonderful that i don't know what to say! the coloring is just fantastic! I love this picture!!! The refelction on the water look so real and the sky...wow! I love how the sun is setting, it gives this picture a moody expression at the same time pleasant too, because of the girl and the guy. I'm so faving this piece.
