A still life I did in my art class over a few days. I referenced some stuff I found in the art room (the glass thing and the ribbon.)
ALSO...this used to have a shadow but the guy who took the picture of it used flash and the shadow was obliterated T_T

The glass texturing is very beautifully done, but I don't think a thick outline around the ribbon outside the jar continues the same realistic feel. However there is some pretty impressive color pencil technique used here.

For some reason, the way I see it, it looks like the ribbon is turning into a liquid and being poured into the jar.
The Jar looks absolutly lovely. Bravo, this is awesome.
