Day By Day
The winds of time
Edge me away
Destroying my past
And for the future make way
Day by day, step by step
I still press on bold
Giving my all throught these trials
That leave me beaten and cold
Neglected by all and losing all feeling
Winds freezing me down to the soul
The darkness of night is much more inviting
Malicious acts snatch me from my goal
But as they say, such is life
There never is an easy way
Pressing on's the only way you can win
