I'll probably sound like a tard no matter how I word this, but I've noticed a huge improvement in detail over the past couple of months. srsly. This is really an excellent example of it too. I'm sure that at this point you could probably create pieces on par with the finished pieces the "proffesionals" over at ConceptArt make.
anyway that said (in a tard-tacular way), I really like this

this looks awsome! it's face and pose are cute, but the detail in it's legs, tail and wings make it look fearsome.
