Introducing my own character Pirate ChocoBoots xD!!
The name didn't come to me until I was colouring his boots, and I decided on the brown. After I zoomed out to look at it, I realized the highlights made them look like they were made of chocolate ^^ And thus the name was born
This was actually drawn two days late of two years ago. You'll notice that it's dated twice - once on the left in small numbers (which is the date of when the lines were completed), and the other date on the bottom right is today, when I finished colouring him in.
The funky letters beside the date on the bottom right is how you spell my Korean name in Korean xD Free hugs to those who can guess correctly what my Korean name is. And no nonsense like 'ching chong bok choi'. That just makes you look silly D:

It will really make the shapes of your drawing pop out. It won't just make it look like, yeah the light is hitting it correctly, it'll look like it's actually a nice form with some dimension. Keep practicing colouring! I think there's a Colouring Book club where you can get lines to colour, and if you want to try your hand at any of my stuff go for it. And if it's already coloured, I'll toss over the lines for it. You've improved so much in the past like year. You've done in a year what it's taken me 2-3 years to do.

But i sorta agree with Nikita, it would look nicer if the shadows were a lil darker. but it still looks amazing. Great work. I love the pose n all, it's super.. oo and the name is teh smex
