I love red pandas. It's a shame how close to extiction they are. One came really close when I went to Dublin Zoo recently. So a red panda had to be my next realism piece. Strangely I drew this tiny amounts at a time. Very unlike me. It shows what things can do to you though. Anyways I'm glad I've finally finished it.
EDIT: This is a copy of the actual photo I used as a reference. I have been blasted by a few people for photomanipulation. I hope now people can put both together and actually see how different mine is and how far I have to go before I can truly draw realistically on the computer. I have no idea who this image belongs to. But all rights remain with them. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/1003/igtica/red_panda.jpg Should further justification be need I am looking to do a tutorial using the this image as I have saved it at various stages that allow me to do so. I hope this clears things up. I am upset that people choose to wriongly accuse me. But I am also thrilled at the attention my drawing has brought to the species, as well as all the kind comment! Thank you to everyone who has helped me! I could never have dreamed of having so many comments on my artwork and I am thrilled to pieces!

I'm simply and utterly amazed. At first, I thought I was a photograph, and when I took a closer look, I still thought it was a photography. Then I read your description and my jaw dropped to the floor. The attention to the detail is too great for words. It's gorgeous!!

red pandas rock...it's funny because...
giant pandas are always called "panda bears" but they aren't bears, they are closer related to racoons...
and red pandas look like red racoons...but they are closer related to bears.
hahaha.
