A woman rare
Her hands, the world she seems to hold
Who would ever guess, or even know
The battle, within, this woman holds
Her life, her fight, only she knows.
How many times she'd wanted to run;
Turn away from the days that come.
How many hurts, the tears she's shed
Shaky, scared, who would ever guess.
Self-esteem, once lost, starting to wind
Peace, within, this woman hopes to find.
Confidence, within, she wants to know
Strength, courage, this woman surely holds.
Entering the room, making her smile bright
Her steps, confident, sure, bouncy, light.
Personality, intelligence, around her shines
A woman, rare, no doubt, in anyone's mind.
Who would ever guess,
Who would ever know...

oh, wow, i relate to this. it's amazing. i love your poems. they flow and i love how they rhyme.
is it about how a girl is all happy on the outside, but on the inside, her depression is practically drowning her soul? if that's the case, i relate ot this too well >_>
