After being defeated by King Laharl, Captain Gordon, Defender of Earth accepted his fate to be the King's newest slave in the netherworld. One sunday morning on his typical slave run, his assistant Jennifer, their super robot Thursday, and the girls Etna and Flonne decide to go out on a picnic in the Sea of Gehenna. Laharl wasn't too keen on the thought of a Girls' Day Out, so he and Captain Gordon tag along, following them, as Gordon himself plays along while devising a plan to escape Laharl's slavery and flee back to Earth. But alas! As Flonne brought out the picnic basket, someone swoops in and takes the basket! The picnic basket thief is none other than Mid-Boss! and Laharl's gang spends nearly an entire Disgaea episode chasing down Mid-boss to get their food back.
