This has a complicated story. A friend of mine is a fan of slash, that is to say gay interpretations of famous characters. I like South Park, she likes StanxKyle, I don't really care, doesn't offend me, I think it's funny, bla bla bla, I'm no expert on the subculture of gay males slash etc.,...
Well as a joke and token of goodwill, I drew and submitted for her an illustration of Stan and Kyle in a marriage like setting as a parody of the episode "Follow That Egg." I thought the picture was rather funny, and I was proud.
Well in some comms it sparked this huge, over the top debate, on wether Stan or Kyle would be the one in the dress. Go figure right? Kyle was nominated the masculine of the two and many fans felt that my drawing was a misrepresentation of the pairing. I showed Kyle in a dress.
So I'm sitting here with my face in my hands wondering if all this fuss is really necessary and why everyone cared. I wasn't trying to imply anything.
Anyway, her community is holding a contest. I figure putting them both in dresses will solve the debate, or fan the flames... or something.
Oh yeah, full view is best. I'm rather proud of this one.
