YAR!
"Its been over three weeks past the date that we said that we would close our doors!" a low voice growled, "We have enough strength between us here... why can't we just work off of what we have?"
"Patience," A cool female's voice said sharply, "We need more strength..." The voice was lowered, commenting to another, "So much for Dragons being patient..."
With a dangerous growl, the ocean blue Dragon anthro had the woman pinned to the wall with a hand around her throat. His eyes flashed dangerously, lips pulled back to show the sharp teeth that lined his gums.
"You wouldn't hurt me," The woman said, a hint of amusement in her voice, "You like me too much..."
"Wanna bet?" The Dragon questioned through clenched teeth, "You're nothing without me. I could walk right now..."
"You would give up the chance of having some sort of power?" The woman asked, "Perhaps... if things go according to plan... power over every murderer within this and neighboring kingdoms..."
The Dragon tightened his grip, only to release it soon later and retire to the far corner, muttering under his breath. The woman chuckled lightly, rubbing her throat as she sat down again in front of a table. The room was dark, lit only by a few oil lamps. The head count rose only to four. Three humans, two of them men, and the Dragon.
The Dragon only wore a pair of plain brown pants, his bare chest had a couple scars on it, but that was it. And he was... quite strong. The woman wore a simple white shirt, that hung off her shoulders and an ordinary dark navy blue bodice over it. She also wore tight pants, her belt covered in random little bags, a beautiful sword (with aquamarine and blue topaz in the hilt) and a few random leather strings hanging down from it, probably extra things to tie her brown hair back with. The two human men in the room, at the moment, are unimportant.
Who were they waiting for? Well, other people in... their line of business. Murderers, assassins, mercinaries... the like. They had put up a poster with only a few words.
"Underhanded businesspeople.
All welcome.
Black Boar Tavern.
Ask for the Lion."
Short, sweet and simple. And hopefully, eyecatching.
