Verge's Audition

Ugh. I took too long with this one and kind of lost interest. I'm keeping the unflattened, fully coloured version around though, just in case I get the idea someday to give it another shot. :3

Mm, what can I say?

..I like cellos. I liked them even more when, after three tries, I drew something realistic enough to keep.

As for the character design, I'm liking this one better than that other one I did of him last year. His eyes are some kind of darker brown now, his hair isn't as freaked up.. and the nose-peircing, I've found that I can live without it. For now. AND HIS FACE-HAIR HAS RELOCATED.. and it doesn't look as though it's drawn-on.

He still has the goofy hat, though. It's still in his suitcase at the time of this audition, although with the crappy weather outside he plans to dig through and find it before heading back out into it.
