So, second serious try at copic markers. I HATE THE FIRE AND THE WING. Of course, I just hate the background in general. And his head...only after I colored him and I got a better sense of his mass did I realize...
...So failed at proportioning.

Despite the anatomical error, I really like this. The colouring is beautiful. The shading in the backround is very smooth and neat, and the colours delightful to look at; I truly do not see what your problem with it is.

I couldn't use markers to save my life so this looks pretty good to me. Just know that you can only get better with practice, so there has to be some stuff you don't like in the beginning.
