Mantle of the Bat - Samurai

I recall seeing something along these lines... so I started toying with the idea of it in my head and sketched it out.... well that sketch turned into this you see now. Basically just thinking, what if others in historical periods we're called to gain the mantle of the Bat such as Bruce Wayne has in Gotham? Just hypothetically thinking, that the Batman persona goes far bigger and beyond being a simple inspiration brought about by tragedy, but a calling to be all you can be to carry something out. I hope I captured what it means to be a batman in this image... though employed in a setting other than gotham, I think the important thing is the essence of the character... and let's face it... Batman is very much Samurai, or even a follower of the Way of the Warrior. Enough babble from me. I hope you guys enjoy it. If anyone has any ideas for this kinda thing... hey toss em at me... we'll see what happens.
