Genmeya is a girl from the tribes who live in the coastal salt marshes south of the plains and forests. the people there have a higher tolerance to salt, and can spend long hours fishing and swimming in the ocean. their bright cyan colors differ from the reds and greens of the inland people largely due to the crustaceans and plants they eat.

her knife is carved from the shell of a massive clam-like creature native to the area.
