OOOO that makes me wana break out the blow tourch, thank...Thank your Squee bunny now i can do my most favorite of art... give you a hint...ar---. Some where in my story im trying to tell you... You done good...You done good.
Good attempt, but with the harsh contrast the flame is completly blown out while the dark areas have some banding noise.
A good technique for shooting these kind of shots is to take a cookie sheet and cover it with tin foil, then put 8 or 9 candles in front of it and put it below the camera directly in front of the model and single candle but out of view of the camera. Then shoot it with the EV at -1. What you get from this way of shooting is effectively 10 candles of light. This will bring the exposure up to where the EV-1 will make it as dark as this image is, but enought light that you'll loose the banding noise and have the single flame also in clear focus without blowing it out.
