Haldir - TLK

Okies, for those who don't know I have an obsession with Haldir, an uber smexy, studly elf from LotR (whom Peter Jackson killed off in The Two Towers, even though Haldir clearly did NOT die in the book, and no elves were at Helms Deep anyway besides Legolas >_< ). And lately, I've had an urge to draw him as a lion, TLK style. Why? I dunno, I must have wanted to try something new.

This is my first time *ever* drawing in TLK style, and though I need to keep on working on it, I am pleased with how this came out. I gave Haldir features that represent him from the movies, such as:

* his hair style
* his braids that you see behind his ears
* ears are more pointed than normal lion ears
* lean build yet nicely muscular
* long legs
* blond-silver hair
* ice-blue eye with dark lids
* dark eyebrows and stern expression

Fun, fun, fun! I should do Aragorn next, hehe!

Oh, and the background's supposed to be the Golden Wood.
