This is Sutra a custom based off of frisket17 's charater Sutra. Sutra is twin to Kanashimi so it was only natural to do a custom pony of her charater as well. She orignally was a baby charm bracelet that had a horrid accident by the hands of some small child and had permant marker all over her. After deeming her unsaveable she was transformed into the pony you see here today.
Sutra is done with acrylic paint tones and seed beads. Each strand of her hair has been hand strung and took about 80 hours plus to create. Honestly this is a rough estimate since I did loose track of the hours I have put into her. I can tell you four strands of hair can be beaded in an hour.
All of Sutra's orignal markings have been transfered over to this custom except for her shoulder markings but it seemed to clash with the tan and being such a small model as the baby ponies are it would have made this custom look to busy so they were left off. About Ten coats of sand arcylic paint was used to cover up the permant maker base that a child decided to customize her with.
Anyways I have two more customs like this planning to be accomplished before the end of june so that they can make a state fair art show. All and all I am pleased with the way this custom turned out and discovered that I have actual patience.
