Some say that life without love
isn't worth living...
some say tis better to have loved and lost then to never have loved at all...
most however, would agree that the saying
ignorance is bliss is incorrect.
However I say that those who say
that the preivious sayings are
false have never loved,
or at least have never truly been heartbroken...
yes for the way love often is,
ignorance truly is bliss...
better yet, never love at all...
at least then, you can never get hurt.

As for empathy, I felt, and still feel, something extremely similar to the message of this poem.
