I did this project entirely in photo shop. The main thing I did is I took two images and spliced them together. In actuality there are two parts that I added. One is Ayato, and the other is the shadow at Ayato's feet. I also blurred the edges of Ayato to get rid of some jagged edges.

This is pretty good. The part I've got to gush over is how flawlessly the shadow at her feet goes on the hand. It really does look like it was originally part of the original hand. But slight constructive criticism, the shadow on her is a bit off. I would suggest using the dodge and burn tool. Dodge to bring out some highlights were the light source is coming from (seems to be from above so on her head), and Burn were the shadow will be (probably on the legs and on the bottom of the bent arm). It really is pretty good. The only reason why I caught it was cuse I just had a final over exactly this in my graphics class. ^-^;
