I love this. Personally, I like it a lot better when the artist doesn't use a reference, because then it seems more original. As for her hand, the only thing wrong is the side of the hand the pinky is on. The shadow doesn't go down like it does on the thumb side, it goes across. I'd suggest looking at your own hands first, and trying to draw them from various angles.
