i tried some new stuff with drum layering. theres like 7 different effects channels for 3 different drum smaple packs. i kept it relatively simple in terms of melody.
it reminded me of saying "...in SPACE" alot, so i felt "Starlight" was a good title for it :p

I really really really like how the pacing picks up around :48s. It gives it this cool head-bobbing drive that I enjoy.
This one is really fun, and sounds like something a nifty, vectorized spaceship would fly around to! Oh, if only I could use Flash...
Nonetheless, the images are in my head, and that's just cool with me. I think the 2 minute mark is my favorite segment of it; it's got a great vibe.

Oooh, very bouncy. I can definitely sense the spacey imagery.

I have no idea how you people work your magic with the drums. It makes me feel like I'm missing out on some big secret.

I'm not sure if it's just me, but this sounds very much like something you'ld hear on the main menu screen of a space themed videogame. The image that comes to mind as I listen is something like an animated intro/menu screen for an Inhuman game. And it actually reminds me a bit of diffrent themes I'd hear made specificly for the comic.
I'm not suggesting in any way that this was intended, just that it's what comes to mind for me.
The melody, although simple, is quite nice and is a pleasure to listen to.
I like this. I like it alot.

Heh, very cool... I've been listening to DJ Tiesto and Paul Van Dyk, then loaded this piece up without realising I'd switched to it. Good work!
