baking with rein

I recently decided to actually draw something, instead of pixelled icons and ballpoint pen sketches in my notebook. Even though I haven't watched a whole lot of Fushigiboshi no Futago Hime, I think the characters are really adorable - so I got inspired to do Rein (as I usually draw her sister Fine instead). I'm giving an inked version of this colored with colored pencils to my dad as a birthday gift, but since I was impressed with how the sketch looked I scanned it and CGed it. (It felt nice to CG after so much pixel work.) Even though I like this better than the hand-colored version...I think a handmade gift is usually better

I think doing the Makari request for Kuri (known as 'ying kuri' here on sheezyart) has motivated me to put more effort into my drawings (clothes, folds, hair, etc.)...thank you, Kuri! xD
