Father's day
A day in which we
take our time to appricate
the fathers in our lives

father and son go on fishing trips
daughters give their dads hugs and cards
Wives make breakfast in bed
for the ones they vow their lives too.

but what of those without
this critical person in their life
what are they to do?
what are they to feel?

Father's day
for those who are lonely
this day brings back memories
of old and pains of the present

What can you say
to someone who had no father
or lose him to Drugs, Alcohol
or the long grip of the Grim Reaper

There is nothing
That's the way life is played
For words will bring forth memories
and Memories can bring us pain

Who can say that they like pain
None will stand up and proclaim it
that is because we can only
handle so much pain in our lives

To remember is sign of a bond and
bonds are those of love and affection
that work like a two way street
and only work right in that sense

For if a person was to express love and emotion
to a being that can never appricate it back
what is to happen to that person, you ask?
He will suffer under his own instability.

But what of the old saying,
"It's better love and lost than to never love at all"
That saying is a complete lie
to confuse us into being that loss is a plus

I ask you all this, would you feel pain
if someone you didn't know or loved die
You cannot say yes, for people die every
day, I can't see you mourning at this very second

"So, we should not form bonds?
Is that what you mean to tell us?"
No, for that is the mindset of a man
who is greedy for power.

Look deep inside and find the Bond of that man
For when you cry, your heart will truly connect you to him
for when you smile, you express how strong that bond is,
For the heart is the thread that binds us, beyond life and death

Endure the pain of your heart
for it is a test that will make you stronger
Do it as offer as you can
because suffering is the same is you know it will end

So,Remember those who have passed on father's day
For there is a fate worse than Death, and that is
To be forgotten, and that would mean you never existed
