As you can tell, I'm not all that good with backgrounds, the horizontal line was put in a wrong place as well. There's alot I still need to work on, but I'm trying. All in becoming a good artist. I'm kinda thinking of becoming an anthro artist. I don't know who would say that's bad. If you think that's a bad way to go, say something now, or forever hold your peace.

I dunno. I don't really like anthro. I like the stuff you usually draw. I really like the eyes in this, the shading, and I also really like the dog in the background. Remiends me of Wallace and Gromit. ;D

cell shading is very good. I can't draw great on Flash and can't use the pen tool so my stuff = the bad. love the expression on the face, and it doesn't matter if it's not what you usually do, we all have to change it up once in a while or we loose it. seriously. have fun and feel free to ignore people.

I'd try hiding the foreground temporarily, so you can focus on the background as a foreground or landscape rather than just a background. I really like the idea of the completely unrelated "Steve walking the dog" in the background. I may try to do something like that.
