i have always been fairly ambivalent about chinchillas as pets, but the other day I got to meet one and oh boy are they adorable fun. i love their tiny cold feet and the way they bounce around on everything, they are awesome.
I wish i had a similar experience with chinchillas, but alas. The only one i ever met was moody and aggressive. Didn't make for a good house mate, even if it was temporary.
