Aftermath-Ch.1-Reminiscence-Pt.1

It was a year later and Lynn was still saddened over Jack's death. Her and Rikku were sitting together on her bed, Rikku was trying to get Lynn to cheer up a bit.
"Come on Lynn, I know he was your boyfriend and all, but you need to stop sulking he wouldn't have wanted that. Pluss you've still got me." She said.
"Thanks, Rikku, but your just not quite the same as Jack though." Lynn replied.
"Well I cou..." She tried to say as she laid her hand on Lynn's leg, but Lynn jumped up and cut her off.
"Don't even go there I 'm not a lesbian!" Lynn shouted.
"Oh come on," Rikku said now standing up to Lynn,"whats so wrong about being loved by me." She waited for an answer, but when none came she continued, "If you'd just gimme a chance I'd bet you'd..."
At that point she grabbed Lynn by the hand, pulled her toward herself, and kissed her. Lynn then smacked her across the face.
"Don't you ever kiss me, bleh!" Lynn shouted.
Rikku just smiled a bit then topuched her cheek where Lynn had slapped her. She looked half confused and half expecting it.
"I'm ss... Hey wait Lynn where are you going?" Rikku asked.
Lynn who was to infuriated to here her apology, didn't bother to answer her and stormed off towards the common room red as fire. (Now whether or not her reddness was from anger or if she was blushing not even I know.) Once there she bumped hard into Ryker. Now if there was anyone Lynn didn't want to see now, it was Ryker. He was a dragon slayer, a good one at that, he wore a necklace made of the dragon's claws he had slain, fifty claws all from a different dragons. Ryker was a new year at the school even though he was as old as Lynn.
"Watch it lizard! Whats the matter still crying over your pathetic dead boyfriend? When are you going to learn that all dragons are sainten's lap dogs?" He scowled.
"Shut up! They are not, and I'm a dragon too ya know!"Lynn retaliated.
"Yes, I know, you should have stayed human, or at least have been a tiger like me."
"Why would I want to be like you, a pathetic bastard and a murderer."
"I figured you say something like that, you've allready surendered your humanity to that dragon, and when I find the proof I'll kill all three of them!" He warned.
This surprised Lynn, she had no idea he knew about Frost, Fira, and Aquatica. This troubled her, what if he knew where they were? The feel of the room was now very intense, and Lynn was partialy releived when she heard Rikku snarling behind her at Ryker. She thought this would make Ryker back down, but when she looked at Rikku she could tell that Rikku wasn't going to let him.
"Well hello there kitty-kitty, come toprotect your girl?" He asked.
"Sure why not?" Rikku replied.
"Oh! How touching, but your just as pathetic as them, you dragon lover, your not fit to be a lioness."
"Not fit eh? Well we'll have to see about that. You lay one hand on her and I'll rip out your balls and hang you by them!"
"My my thats awfully big talk for a weak lioness."
"Weak! Why you, and it ain't just talk I'll do it!"
And with that she lunged for him, but before she could touch him he had dissapeared.Not a second later he reappeared holding Lynn up by the neck.
"Let her g..."
Rikku tried to lunge for him again, but his tail caught her by the neck, slamming her to the floor, and leaving her gasping for air.
"Sorry there, but its not you I wish to fight. However your my ticket to get this dragon to fight me. What do you say Lynn, if you beat me I'll let her go?"
"Do I have a choice?" Lynn asked.
"Not realy, either you fight me or don't either way she'll prolly die. That is unless you...he... beat me, but I doubt you will. Now this place is a little to crowded shall we take this outside? I'll tell you what I'll even hold on to her during the fight, giving you a little, but not much of an advantage."
"You're crazy you couldn't beat me lugging her by your tail. Fine I'll do it, get ready to die you scumbag!"
"Now thats what I like to hear, and just to show you I'm a gentleman, ladies FIRST."
He threw Lynn straight through the window shattering it to peices. He jumped over it landing on the ground three stories below on his feet and slamming Rikku, who was still being strangled by his tail and turning a light shade of blue, on the hard ground with a loud THUD!
