During the Linean Crusades, Artimis's kingdom of sand and Aurora's kingdom of the sky are sword enemies, however that does little to faze the long building feelings between them. It really comes to show during their first battle and Artimis refuses to finish Aurora off. They meet later in the night and he tells her that it hurts him to cause harm to such beauty. Of course Aurora is taken aback by this and when he starts nuzzling her (see picture) she flinches because you don't expect the one on the opposite side of the war to show such affection, do you? But this is the start of their relationship after... what... a few thousand years since they met
