We.Stand.Alone

My three Kyr characters, Tsairicon, Raith, and Talrek. All three are victims of abuse, mentally, emotionally, and physically. Tsairicon was taken away when she was little, beaten, starved, and turned into an emotionless fighting machine. She held on by a thread to what sanity she had, and her real self, Tsairi, that personality was sort of locked away and protected while Bloodsbane, her pit personality, took over. When she escaped, Bloodsbane ceased to exist, and she mostly recovered from the damage that was done to her.
Raith, well, no one's really sure what happened in his past life, but some say he was killed betraying his love. Sent to the Depths, or Hell, even from there, he managed to escape through a sacred portal, and now, an undead demon, he wanders the earth. Whatever happened in his past took away most of his sanity, and now, half-insane, he seeks only to torture and kill, yet never knowing why. Perhaps his death has taken away all compassion, though, there was one that proved that to be wrong.
Talrek, like Tsairi, had a similar past, and was taken into the pits. However, he wasn't as sucessfully taught as Tsairi was, and they found him insufficient at fighting. But with this, they observed his uncanny intelligence, having escaped multiple times, and thought of a better use for him. They squeezed out all love from his form, placing with the other Kyrs, but whichever he got attatched to they would take away, or kill before his eyes. These sacrifices were not in vain, and his last drops of love were gone. Taught only deception and manipulation, his job in the pits was to observe the others, listening for any plans of rebellion or escape, and reporting these to his master. Even when he escaped later on, this pattern continued, and he lives for the thrill of seeing those that 'love' him fall.
