Stars
I looked towards the clear night sky
At the full moon that shone overhead
And at the thousands of stars that dot the sky
I feel like I am in a dream.
I sit down on a rock
Overlooking an ocean
Which reflected the moon%u2019s glow
And the waves splashed softly against the rocks on the shore.
I buried my toes in the silky sand
And I layed on my back
Staring at the patterns of the stars in the sky.
I held up my finger and traced a pattern of a heart
And smiled at the thought of him
But then I sat up and blushed
Not believing what I am doing.
I%u2019ve come to realize tonight
That I love him more than any words could describe
I stood up and walked away
Not knowing what%u2019s ahead of me now.
