Ayreon Starchild

This is a drawing of Arjen Lucassen's minstrel Ayreon in a happier moment...whether it's a great concert he's listening to, or the feeling of the sun's warmth on his skin or the wind and rain, or if it's a dream of happier possibilities for humankind, this blind musician has no fears of what people might say when they see his joy.

I really wanted to show Arjen's character in happier times, and I feel like I've accomplished it.

Major Ayreon fans may make the connection I'm trying to suggest here...think of the song "Starchild", the tune of a certain song on The Final Experiment, and what we know about the "new migrator"...

P.S...yes, I know the pants look bad. Oh well, I like the rest of it way too much.
