I'm experimenting with the various uses of Paintshop Pro & PhotoShop. This image you're looking at was done using Paintshop Pro. The lineart was done by Pop Mhan & you can see the original uncolored line art on his web forum at the following
link. I welcome any input that's not too advanced and allows me to develop as time progresses. I expect to be taking classes to better refine my digital imaging skills on the fall, so don't jump the gun too far.

so try this using photoshop:
make every color/part in a single layer, and after applying the base color like what you already did.. start editing and adding details to it separatly. so now for an eg. you can easly edit the guys jeans or shirt and and some drawings/pattern on it. or u can make shades and high lights on the skin with out applying that to all colored areas.
you have some good and clean result there :). good job.
