As a few of you who watch me already know, I'm a moderator over at the lovely message board that is The Lion King Fanart Message Board: http://www.lilymud.net Since we don't actually talk much about The Lion King at all these days, minus one small forum, it is affectionately referred to by most of its members as Lilymud, a nickname derived from the board's random domain name.
The Lilymud experience is generally a pleasant one, but sometimes things occur to make it...not so pleasant. Usually this is because someone has decided they don't need to read the rules. Read the rules? What a silly thing to do! It's unheard of!
So, I decided to compile a list of the most frequent/annoying things I and the other staff members have to deal with over there in the hope that a little humor might inspire folks to actually pay attention to a few of this common and entirely avoidable mistakes. And this doesn't just apply to Lilymud, chances are it'll apply to other forums you visit too.

Oh, one more thing, because I know someone will ask, the blurred text actually says something utterly boring like "This is inappropriate, you really don't want to read this. Trust me."

lol, yeah some people, most likely even me at some point, don't seem to care or even pay attention to the little details that make being on the internet easier and funner...withput your parents freaking out because some idiot posted something stupid on one of your favorite sites...
