I've almost thrown this out three or more times but finally daubed in the last of the colour to finish it and share.
May I introduce my Violent New Age Virgin - Maya, follower of Artemis, ecoenvironmetalist and mythical animal rights activist. She's also... well violent and never happier than when she's beating the stuffing out of someone (generally male - do remember who her patron goddess is) or hunting them down *Before* beating the stuffing out of them.

;
The unicorn has good reason to look worried - he's heard about Maya - those hair sticks aren't for decoration Oh Ho No - theyre *pointy*.
The background was a hasty attempt at replicating the style of the Unicorn Hunt tapestries - Those are trees of to the left... Oranges were given at weddings but I can't remember why...
I am torn between wanting to bury this in the garden and redraw it better. Does anyone find humour in it?
Cast your votes? Anyone?
Also if there are any other VNAVs out there I'd love to hear from you.

I love the style too. I think you did a good job adapting the work from traditional tapestries. The only thing, maybe I'm a bit slow, but I don't think the full meaning is as clear as it could be. I didn't fully get it. What is Maya going to do that makes the unicorn wonder? I would absolutely love to see a reworked version of this and I think it's a great addition to your gallery!
