o3o new character.
she was born when I was listening to "Swing Swing" by The All-American Rejects ~
I was browsing through Sunny's photobucket account earlier and I saw a sketch/half-finished present for someone with ribbons that looked like they were being suspended in air .. almost like on a carousel. That sort of inspired this, because I thought of it being a swing.
or something.
The colours were .. OMGRANDOM. I just closed my eyes, moved my mouse around the slider, and came up with light spring green ~ so her colour scheme was born.
She just looked ... totally ditzy ..
She's gonna be competing with Talia at this rate ...
OH AND, whilst I was still sketching, I was all "omg.. i wanna do fanart... who can I turn this into? |:" so I looked around, through galleries, on SROA, and even through VK's character refs on photobucket ... then I thought "Let's do Shadow" but ... VK has already done fanart for her today, and in a similar pose, I noticed (I laughed when I noticed I'd practically rotated the character
). So naw. So I looked through my own characters butt... none fitted ...
SO JADE WAS BORN. 8D And named whilst listening to Blink 182 "Please Take Me Home" ("I'm so jaded, calculated wrong")... The story of Jade
Lotta fluff because I was practicing putting movement into stuff. o3o again , attempting to imitate VK .. But I fail at that, I can't actually imitate -any- style, I can't even copy things right. |D that's why I've got my own style instead of having someone else's.
So she's a ditzy blonde (...ish
), who loves having fun and also likes to eat grapes. oO; okee. I'll do a reference .... not yet though.
