Wasn't sure what else to call this, it basically was paint practice.
After working on the dark elf picture for about 5 hours and not being satisfied with it at all I became rather depressed, as artists do, and couldn't draw for about 2 days. Happens to me every once in awhile.
Afterwards I got some inspiration and I really wanted to try coloring something new, so I drew this. I spent a good 10 hours on it total, I tried multiple techniques and color choices, just trying to better my coloring, because it has been one of my weaker points. I also realized something about my work though, it seems like only saturated colors really work with my lineart, I tried using more cel-shaded colors and techniques but none of them looked right.
Actually kind of happy with the coloring... I think her breasts are too round though. =C

I'm sorry to hear you were depressed, but it's good to know your better. You definetly did a good job on this one, and I have to wonder why you say your coloring is one of your weaker points, because I don't agree ^_~ I think your coloring rivals mine, and it makes me a bit envious. Keep up the good work!

the colouring style reminds me of Hyung Tae-Kim's works, one of my all time favourite artists =D

Artists' block and depression is definitely a bummer. This looks great though, and I think you did a very nice job with the colors. The lighting and tonal work on her skin is excellent.
