The peoples of foreign nations are always the puppets to the invading force... The Romans did it to the Celts of Britain, the Germans did it to the Poles in Poland, the Russians did to the myriad satellite countries of the former Union of Soviet Socialist Republics, and the Americans did it to the Iraquis. I'm not saying that I agree with it (I don't), but such is the historical situation that's present in the world today...
