If I were to speak,
would you see me?

would you look right through me?

I feel like you don't see me,
like you can't even tell I'm there,
that if I walked by
with a tear in my eye,
you wouldn't even see me,
wouldn't even spare me a glance.

If I were to throw myself at you,
would you catch me with a smile?
If I were to trip and fall,
would you turn and laugh at me?

I feel like I'm not worth it,
when all you do is walk away,
