Stray Testing CGI - Rap vs X

Yeah, I know. I'm not dead.

After a hiatus of months upon months, it's time to get back to work. I'm working on Stray again, and Page 8 is behind me, awaiting completion for an upload tomorrow. Then I'll get to work with Page 9, and keep going from there.

What's been holding me up? A boyfriend, a new house, life in general. Birthdays, holidays, my father's dianosis of terminal cancer, etc. Alot of shit has been going on in the world of the Wolfie, and it never seems to slow down enough for me to sniff the roses, or work on my masterpeice.

I'm out of practice, and thus, I've been practicing on characters that will become vital to the story, but I havn't drawn since high school.

Rap is my own original Velociraptor Mammalian. He's an Extremity type, which means he looks very little like the human half of his DNA. This has it's advantages, of course-- He's stronger than a human, but still has the brains and, of course, the gift of speech. Then again, Velociraptors are known for their cunning.

Of course, we all know his opponant. Hi, X.

There's reason for me drawing this-- One, I needed practice on Rap in an action pose. (dropping down on X for the kill seems pretty action-y to me.)
Two, I needed practice on X, whom I havn't drawn in months yet again. So here we go.

Gonna be scanning some more practice stuff soon. I did a pretty suitable practice sheet of Wagger again and more of Rap.

Watch for Page 8, the long awaited return of Stray (at least in my eyes), tomorrow. It will be up, I promise.
