So I was surfing the web and game across a really awesome website that had a dol pattern you could use to make your own doll, so I decided to give it a shot. Sicne I don't have any human characters it was a trick deciding what to make the doll INTO. Finally I settled on Elisa maza, from Gargoyles. So here you have it, my very first complete doll! I am SO proud of her! The clothes were an utter pain in the ass, but I figured it out eventually. Next time I'm going to find those iron on printout paper things so I can make the eyes ont he computer, painting on fabric is such an annoyance. Oh well. Overall she came out really well. Yes, I KNOW in the cartoon her shirt is BLACK, but I used the comic picture as shown on the right. (plus, I dind't have much black)
I know UFO dolls generally have fabric hair, but I tried that, and it didn't look right, so I went back to classic yarn, which in the end, I like better.
As odd as it is, the day after I got the pattern the website it was one removed it from their DIY section! Boy I'm glad I saved it. ^.^;; The owner who made the pattern is a genius, it was great and simple to do, thanks so much for letting people use it!

Wow! You're so handy with crafty things ^__^. Looks like it was a good pattern and it's a shame that it's gone. Nice work!
