I got poked to actually write the exponation of this work so here it comes
with teh help from Thunderchild19 x] hehe
This has absolutly NOTHING to do with fetch/SM/pain [well not fisical pian] This piece is all about beeing controlled.
The creature can be called a brainsnatsher, or a 'puppet master' (better word ye)
Conection to the tounge indicates to inpact on the rats actions he's not himself, the eyes for a diffrent color , the rings on his back controll, the one in his nose/nippels steering it the right direction.
The creature is painted in a difrent color as the rings to indicate invisebilety (I know its not clear ... ) as are the rings.
Perhaps extreemly symbolic yes
