Reflections

I look into the water and see a face,
It doesn't belong to me, it is from another place,
That doesn't matter, I don't want you to go,
And I don't want you to know.

It is all hard to describe,
Please don't ever bribe,
This feeling and hurt, deep inside,
I wish you knew, just how often I hide.

These things are all old,
I'm sure that they've been told,
The look in your eyes,
Darker then the darkest skies.

So what if it doesn't make sense,
All of the movement is tense,
There is something about us,
This room won't ever see dust.

The moment the sun set,
Our scores still weren't met,
Back to the water, across the light shone,
All night without sleep, I hated the new dawn.
