Out of all the days I've lived my life
there's things I won't forget
But for all the mistakes I've ever made
I'll never feel regret
Because I've learned that those mistakes
Are what made me who I am
They tell the story of how that boy
Has grown into this man
There are pains still in my memory
That I'd wished were never there
And sometimes it felt like all the stress
Was just to much to bear
But now I know that these things
Dont define just who I am
They also tell the story
Of how that boy became this man
These things we call mistakes
That we wish we all could change
We really shouldn't want to
Even though it may sound strange
Cause they teach us how to live
And show us right from wrong
All the things we've called mistakes
Are what has made us strong
