What I Want To Hear

What I want to hear..
Is words that are true...
Full of trust that travel from you
To me
And warm my heart
Endlessly
That I can call upon on my rainy day
And think back on every memory
To keep me calm when I am stirred
And let me know that my voice was heard
Let alone my inner being
Now thinking of you only has me fearing

The remains of you in my mind
Only pull up things
once lost in time..
I wish I could forget your words
But they struck me as shock and thourough
What you said was..
'I.Love.You.'

Those words were lies and doomed to death..
My heart has HARDENED because of that
I see everyone else with writings on palms
and folders
with the letters smeared from head to shoulder
initials lining their very skin
but is that what they think within?
That this is TRULY the
"Love Of Their Life?"
Or will it lead to a bunch of strife?

Basically, what I'm trying to say,
Is the TRUE words that I want to hear
Are nothing but fake lies I believed all my life.
