Considering I was bored I decided to take photos of this model as I built it, doing it in stages. I'll also state how long it took me to compleate each stage with each photo and give a quick comment on each picture about each stage.
Time Elapsed: 4 hours 20 min
This is probably the most tedious part of the process. The first picture has an elapsed time of 90 minuites because I counted the time it took to setup my work area, the time it took to locate the paints I needed in my collection, the time it took to OPEN the pain jars (two out of three gets jamed very tight.) and time for some other misc activities. Now, in the lower photo it shows very little difference other than some pices are colored. First of all, some of the coloring I did doesn't show as it's on the reverse side of the pice. Furthermore, you need to note that many of the pices I colored is VERY SMALL. You'll see such in latter photos of this model on that note. Plus, each model has roughly 5-10 paints that I have to run though before I begin assembly. After each use of each color, I have to clean the brush and close the old jar before opening the new one. I preferably have only one paint open so I don't mix paints by mistake.
Note: although decals are shown in this picture, they were not used. I prefer to not use decals on my models.
