Well, I told you I'd be colouring it, and here it is.
Not the best I could've done, it's still very messy. Was really hard to colour though. I think I had about 20 different layers, most of them just for precaution - I didn't wana ruin the bits I'd done on the other layers.
The dress should be all sparkly cos it's meant to be beaded...but I really can't draw it showing all the sparkles. I also left out my freckles, cos they're too hard to get right, and I don't like them anyway
I kinda like the hair on this though, but there is one piece that's a bit off colour. And it's sooo long! I'd forgotten how long my hair was before I got it cut. It's now between chin and shoulder length. Very weird seeing myself with long hair again.
Anyways, any tips on improving would be cool

Be as harsh as you want, cos I know I could've done better, but I'd like to see where others think I can improve.
Oh, also any ideas on a background, either just a colour or something simple-ish? Cos it looks a bit boring just on a plain white background.
Thanks for looking ^^
[EDIT] The photo I used as a reference for this can now be seen here http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/31660073/ Just incase anyone wanted to compare so they can tell me how to get better =)

'Cos it looks a bit boring just on a plain white background' <-- I actually like the white background...
But that's just my point of view :)
what medium did you use? ; you sure know how to handle it
Really like the 'see through' sleeves! Really well done!!
I can give you only one tip; try to shade a bit more drastic; don't be affraid to make it darker
But overall; this is really well done!! Keep it up ^^

It looks really good, especially compared to the photo because you captured it well. I see what you mean about the hair color, but it's still really well done.
