Sleep, sleep, sleep - oh, the sweet oblivion.. I need a bedtime story. You can skip it, I won't kill you. My english is terrible enough without any further storytelling attempts..
After the conflict between the royal family from VenSong in Maewar and the Nomosh clan all hell broke loose. The Nomosh clan leader was killed in a peace meeting; this started a merciless blood feud, in which the Nomosh clan killed almost all the royal offspring and the royal guards killed half the Nomosh family members before they managed to reach an agreement. The Nomosh were banished from the lands of VenSong and the border was closed shut. Of course people feared those silent warriors that came and disappeared without a trace. Even after 400 years, when the new dynasty came to power in VenSong and the Nomosh family became their ally, the people didn't trust them. For them, the Nomosh were ghosts, demons, half-beasts with supernatural powers. They used some cursed symbols that they left on the doorsteps of their victims..
"Wind and Moon, guardians of the world, please hear my plea! Protect me from misfortune and illnes, from lightning and wild beasts. Guide me away from trouble and give me strenght to overcome the obstacles on my long journey. But above all, please give me safe shelter when the evening falls - because They come at night.."
(Travellers prayer from Maewar, 3rd century)

I like the pose...I can't see what you're worried about.

The only thing about the expression is that between the yellow eyes and the fangs you've given him a quasi-feral look. If that's how you believe these warriors really are, that's great. If the stereotypes aren't totally accurate, though, it's not as evident from this pic.
As usual, a fantastic job with the clothing!

that's pretty cool, the expression is kind of sneaky like he knows he has just done something wrong or like he's going to do something.. lol sorry did not read ya story..... The shading is fantastic and the design in the background is pretty cool.
