U r u h a - Crimson in Vain

I knew from the moment I saw the original photo, I had to do it myself. It was just so...so bright and elegant and gosh-darn pretty! So it's a step back from my other darker Jrock portraits.

I spent a lot of time nit-picking it, and the details drove me nuts. But it's all worth it in the end when you see it come together. ^^

Ee! I think I finally found the secret to this whole portrait deal, the problems I had before was I smudged too much instead of keeping some of the lines bold, like it should be. Example, the lips (ohh, look at the dewyness xD), keeping a crisp edge is key and knowing when to just stop.
