Haka

yay!!! i did this a while ago on the night when our big screen tv died while watching our recorded American Idles on our Tivo!! yays.... i missed our big Tv T_T BUT we got it back now, yay Anyways, This is Haka's Hatchday gifty, i couldn't resist doing it in watercolors because i wanted to try and paint the beautifully luminous red mane. I think i got the horns wroung tho... think they where... straight? i can't remember.... x_x plus the strips are too close together on her neck, and her ear is waaay to bigish.... plus i messed up o the inside.. blah... the other thing was that i think i got her eye color wroung O.o lol u can tell i didn't have a ref but i did what i could remember from her.... so srry Haka if i got some things wroung, i tried but i loved the results of that mane it was all mixed media, first a graphite drawing, then i did base in water colors, the man first of course. then some of the shading in watercolor, but not all, just to give the shading a base. then, for highlights, i used acrylics on the mane and eye, and some white colored pencil to to do some others. i fixed up some other mistakes with white acrylic too. Yay for bristol X3 still havn't gotten my smooth bristol....its on back order.. dame... o well, i can deal with Vellum till i get it. I really did like this though, and i hope Haka likes it too ^^ i think it took about... 3 hours.. i forget.. we watched all three american idles so u do the math
