Here is Hannah, an oppossum, at the Academy of Natural Sciences in Philadelphia. I volunteered there for three years before I moved to Arkansas.
Hannah was rescued as a baby when her mother was hit by a car. Her mother died, but luckily someone checked her pouch and found that Hannah was the only surviving baby. Hannah was handraised and kept at the Academy because she is too used to humans to be released. She a really sweet girl though and loves people.

Aww~ I love oppossums~ I live in Virginia and see them all the time-- though mostly dead in the road as Hannah's mother. I think they're very cute critters~

Oh my. A sad story for the possum, but I am glad it had a good life in the Academy! That always makes me happy to hear such things.
An adorable possom, if I do say so myself... I really like rodents, weasels, marsupials, and that sort of animal.
Great photo, and you are commended for taking care of such a cute little girly!

EEEEEEEE I LOVE OPOSSUMS!!!!!! There's a zoo near where I live with a really big male opossum, I go there all the time and just sit and watch him (here's a photo I just uploaded of him: right here). Plus, my current fursona is an opossum named Sinclaire.
